Meet Michael L. of South Florida

Last month, Michael L. left this kind review for our team, and we were curious to learn more about his Lindstrom experience. After hearing more about his air conditioning misadventures, we knew it was a customer spotlight story we had to share with all of you as well.

Lindstrom Air Conditioning and Plumbing is my choice. As I was shopping for a new system, coworkers recommended them. In fact, one individual said, “When I went with someone less expensive, the work wasn’t the same.” Having had several companies service my unit, I could not agree more. The workmanship from the technicians namely Anthony, Saul and Brandon were stellar. They didn’t stop working until the installation was perfect. They did not cut corners, nor did they rush. Clearly, they cared about the quality of their work and my satisfaction. The end result exceeded my expectations. For this reason, I highly recommend this company. If a person is looking for experts, quality, and dedication, go with Lindstrom.

Our Air Conditioning Q & A with Michael:

Lindstrom Team: How old was your former HVAC system, and what sort of issues were you experiencing?

Michael: Our system was 11 years old, and we had been experiencing lots of issues. In our area, systems get a lot of wear. They run all year round, are often located on the roof, exposed to the elements and must be routinely serviced. We were noticing the temperature wasn’t ever consistent throughout our house. Plus, we have a difficult location for the central air return (in our bathroom), and it was leading to moisture issues in the attic. Things were finding it very comfortable to live up there. I’ve only lived in South Florida for 7 years and in my short time here, I’ve dealt with four or so companies servicing the unit. I’ve regretted it each time.

Lindstrom Team: How did you decide on Lindstrom Air Conditioning and Plumbing for the replacement of your aged HVAC unit?

Michael: We’ve had so many issues, that we wanted the absolute best, and I believe that was Lindstrom. My roommate asked around at work and Lindstrom came highly recommended. They told us we’d be impressed, and it was absolutely true! When the salesman came out, I didn’t feel like it was a sales push. He explained the benefits. Everything he said was verifiable. He was to the point and honest.

Lindstrom Team: What stood out most about your installation experience with Lindstrom Air Conditioning and Plumbing?

Michael: It was a difficult installation, and our central air return area wasn’t up to code. They could have told us to hire a general contractor to fix it, but you know what they did? They went and entombed that area. They rebuilt that little space and professionally sealed it. They could have just built a box, but they did what really needed to be done all along. It had been causing all sorts of problems in our attic for so long, and they just did it. Nothing is getting in the attic now. That area can now only be exposed from the vent door in the bathroom. I couldn’t love Lindstrom more! It was worth it. I am really thrilled with what they did!

Lindstrom Team: How are you enjoying your new HVAC unit?

Michael: I work from home, and I notice it all. The temperature is consistent and comfortable throughout the house now. We never had that before! Lindstrom lived up to their word!
